Why OTN Bangla?
In today’s world, where misinformation and fake news have become rampant, the quest for accurate and reliable information has never been more critical. As a librarian and information scientist, I have long recognised the pivotal role that information professionals play in presenting accurate data and analyzing it for the benefit of society. It is this realisation that inspired the creation of OTN Bangla.
Established in January 2025 by The Librarian Times Pty Ltd (Australian Company Number 684018102, ABN: 51 428 490 060), OTN Bangla marks a significant milestone in the Australian media landscape. Our journey began with a simple yet profound goal: to present accurate, unbiased, and timely information to our readers. In an era of free-flowing information, we aim to be a beacon of truth, illuminating every story with integrity and clarity.
Our slogan, “বিশ্বজুড়ে বাংলার কথা, প্রতিটি খবরে সত্যের আলো” (The voice of Bangla worldwide, illuminating truth in every news), encapsulates our mission. We are committed to delivering news that not only informs but also inspires and connects communities.
