Melbourne, 31 May 2025 — In a world grappling with rising mental health challenges, the Isha Foundation Australia brought a breath of calm and clarity to Melbourne through its immersive event Miracle of Mind Experience. Held at the picturesque Seaview Williamstown Events Centre, the session welcomed around 200 specially invited guests — including professionals, community leaders, wellness advocates and prominent figures from diverse sectors — for an afternoon devoted to the power of meditation and inner well-being.

The event began at 3:00 PM with a stirring live musical performance by one of Melbourne’s renowned artists, setting an atmosphere of serenity and inspiration. This creative opening was followed by the formal introduction of Miracle of Mind, a 7-minute guided meditation app developed under the vision of globally celebrated yogi and mystic, Sadhguru.

With a strong focus on the urgent need to address global mental health concerns, the session highlighted alarming statistics, including a recent study revealing that one in four children in the U.S. — nearly 19 million — are now living with a substance use disorder. These children, researchers warn, are significantly more vulnerable to developing emotional disturbances, behavioural issues, and clinical anxiety or depression.
Against this stark backdrop, Sadhguru’s teachings resonated with many in the room. In a featured video message, he articulated a profound insight:
“Being mentally ill is not a joke. It is the most painful thing… Human sanity is a fragile thing. The line between sanity and insanity is so thin. If you push it every day, someday you will cross it.”
He further elaborated that while modern societies dismantle traditional structures and support systems that once safeguarded psychological balance, tools like yoga and meditation remain vital lifelines.
“Yoga gives you access to the very source of creation throbbing within you,” said Sadhguru. “If your mind becomes pleasant, we call this peace. If it becomes very pleasant, we call this joy.”
Participants were then invited to engage in a collective 7-minute meditation practice guided by the app. The effect was immediate and profound. Many attendees shared their reflections, describing feelings of calmness, clarity, emotional release, and a sense of inner connection they hadn’t felt in years.
“It was just seven minutes, but it felt like something within me reset,” one participant commented. “There was a stillness — a pause I didn’t know I needed.”

Another participants, Pradeep Tiwari, Mayor of Maribyrnong City Council, shared his reflections on the event through a Facebook post, stating:
“I was honoured to attend a beautiful and deeply moving event hosted by the Isha Foundation — an organisation that continues to inspire and transform lives through its powerful spiritual, environmental, and human service initiatives. Whether it’s their work through Inner Engineering, global campaigns like Save Soil, or their community meditations, the Isha Foundation is a beacon of mindfulness, compassion, and inner growth. As Mayor of Maribyrnong, I’m proud to support organisations that champion wellbeing and unity.”
The session concluded with a light afternoon tea, allowing guests to mingle, reflect, and explore further offerings from the Isha Foundation. Many expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing it as both timely and deeply necessary in an age marked by mental stress and digital overload.
The Miracle of Mind Experience proved to be more than just a meditation session. It was a reminder that healing begins within, and that even a few mindful minutes a day can sow the seeds of lasting mental wellbeing.
